Deals Gap#

Since the turn of the century, a bunch of us from the channel meet up at Deals Gap the first week of May every year — the stretch of US-129 on the Tennessee/North Carolina line most people call the Tail of the Dragon — to ride, hang out, and carry on in person instead of in channel. The dates float with the calendar, but the week doesn’t.

We’ve always stayed at The Treetops — same spot every year, and worth reserving early once the dates are set.
